Who is Childcarebus.sg?
We are a bus service request pooling platform offering web-based and mobile app solutions for school children in Singapore. Childcarebus is operated by Bus Tech Services Pte Ltd.
What is Childcarebus.sg?
Childcarebus is for preschools and parents who want school bus service for their students and children respectively but do not have enough to charter an entire bus. Childcarebus will pool together the bus service requests from those who live near (within 10KM) and start the bus service once we have two kids from the same school. Bus capacity ranges from 10 to 13 seaters.
Does Childcarebus own the buses?
Childcarebus does not own any buses. The buses are owned and operated by our company, Bus Tech Pte Ltd. We also partner with trusted service partners to provide continued reliable and trusted services.
Are your buses licensed?
Yes, all buses owned by Bus Tech Pte Ltd are licensed. And we do check all our service partners are licensed transport companies and that all the drivers have the vocational driving license. You can request to see the license from the bus driver.
Are your buses insured?
Yes, it is a requirement for all commercial bus operators to have insurance for all the passengers on board. This makes it much safer than the typical ride-sharing services.
How do I submit my bus service request?
You can access Childcarebus.sg and create an account with us. After which you will be able to submit your bus service request for your child/student based on your pick-up and drop-off locations.
How will I know my bus service request is fulfilled?
You will be notified via email and our Operations Administrator will follow up with you personally to confirm on your request before starting the actual school bus service.
Can I request another pick-up/drop-off point?
Yes, please send in your request one week’s in advance for us to adjust and arrange the route and schedule accordingly.
How do I register as a service partner with Childcarebus?
You can access Childcarebus.sg and create an account with us. After which you will be able to submit your bus service availability details.
What does it take to be a Childcarebus service partner?
After successful registration, drivers are required to come for interview. Once selected, drivers are required to provide relevant documents like drivers’ license, valid motor insurance and NRIC.
How does it work for the service partners?
Service partners are offered with fixed trips and timings on contract basis.
Cancellation (for Service Partner)
You may withdraw your bus service availability before any trip is assigned to you by contacting us at enquiry@childcarebus.sg. For cancellation after trip is assigned, please inform us at enquiry@childcarebus.sg promptly once after the trip is assigned.
How to delete my account?
Login to your account, go to My Account > Change Password and click on 'Delete Account'.
How do I change my login details like email and password?
Login to your account, go to My Account.
What is the benefit of using Childcarebus?
Spend Less Time in Managing: We help you to manage in finding the sufficient number of children for starting the school bus service. Reliable Bus Operator: Children taking ride from trusted bus operator and service partners which your children’s safety is ensured.
How is the school bus transport service charged?
The school bus transport service is charged at flat fare up to 5KM, $300 for two ways per month.
How do I make payment?
Our Operations Administrator will advise you the payment method and also provide the payment details before starting the actual school bus service.
Cancellation (for Parent/School)
You may withdraw your bus service request before the start of actual school bus service by contacting us at enquiry@childcarebus.sg. For cancellation after using our school bus transport service, please write to us at enquiry@childcarebus.sg promptly once after the trip is assigned.
Refund
No payment is required by you for submitting your service request. Refund is to be discussed and agreed upon between you and our Operations Administrator should you decide to withdraw after the actual school bus service has started.
